Alright, here’s the creepiest part: I opened my TikTok to see a video of myself sleeping, but I live alone. My name’s Emily, and this happened last night. I’ve been using TikTok for a while, mostly for fun dance challenges and memes. Everything was normal until I received a notification for a tagged video. Curious, I clicked on it and my blood ran cold. The video showed me, sound asleep in my own bed, taken from the corner of my room. I don’t have a camera in there, and I live alone. My heart pounded as I watched myself roll over in bed, completely unaware.
Terrified, I checked every corner of my room for hidden cameras but found nothing. I even scrolled through my other videos and found another one from the previous night, the same eerie footage of me sleeping. It was like someone was watching and recording me without my knowledge. I locked all my doors and windows, but I couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched. I reported the videos to TikTok and deleted my account, but the damage was done. The idea that someone could invade my privacy so easily was chilling.
After deleting my account, I stayed up all night with the lights on, too scared to sleep. The next day, I called a tech-savvy friend, Sarah, to help me figure out what happened. She found no evidence of hacking, and the videos had been removed, leaving no trace. It was like it never happened. But every time I close my eyes, I can’t help but feel someone’s watching.
