Reading the description is important, since I forgot to add some sort of disclaimer in the video.
It's not related to this video, Tower Defense Simulator or Roblox for that matter, but rather about Discord. Some people continue to ask me if I've recovered my account or not, and those who saw my Twitter post will know that it's not true. But for the rest of you, I'll just tell you this: I haven't recovered my account at all.
You may have seen my account being online at some point after October 30th, and if it's true, that's still not me. Discord Support has sent absolutely nothing after November 1st, and despite sending the reply less than an hour later, they haven't responded. This might be stretching it a bit, but Discord Support is abhorrently bad when it comes to almost every single issue, but, oh my fucking goodness, account recovery and security is where they're the absolute worst at. It's been eleven days since I lost my account and money, and it shows that they don't care at all, or that the team is so slow that basically nothing happens anyway. Even if they are working on this case, I don't believe that the account will be recovered before the end of the year, plus that as of the time of this video getting published, there are only a few hours left before the Discord Tag of the account gets changed to a different 4-digit denominator instead of the one you've seen for the last few months. Some people have actually been waiting for years with their accounts not being recovered. It's 2021, and it's been over six years since Discord was released to the public. They had all of the time to focus on what people wanted from the support team as well, not just the application, and while I'm not the only one in this situation, it was concerning enough that it got the national post office and banks to warn everyone not to click on basically any link, so as to avoid any future cyber attacks.
Steam has been around for much longer and the support team is similarly bad, though at least you get your account back in just a few hours and that comes from an even larger company with even more complaints! If Valve did this for its Steam, of which services are being used by millions of users, then it can be done by Discord themselves. As for myself, I'll have you know that I do have an alternate account, but it's used so little at this point thanks to severe demotivation, so don't even bother asking for its tag. It's not at all worth it, plus I've been known to neglect my accounts from other platforms and leave them to rot, which isn't what I want. Expect me to quit using Discord even after recovering the account and to move to Twitter, for good. Not just that, but I definitely need to stop using it for the sake of my sanity and activities. Until the case is actually solved, everything regarding Discord on the list of social media contacts will be removed for future videos, maybe older videos too.
