(read the description) Live 4K performance testing: Skyrim Special Edition, with a GTX 1070.
READ THE DESCRIPTION: I was trying to find the "best" settings to run the game, at 4K 60fps, with a GTX 1070, and I was having a difficult time. I recorded this video to demonstrate that, and I discussed (in the video) that I didn't think there would be a good settings combination to recommend that could do the job of 4K 60fps, with this graphics card.
However... Since recording this video, I actually did find a combination of settings that looks decent, at 4K, and can "mostly" do 60fps. (keep in mind, the GTX 1070 I use has a moderate overclock on it)
I almost didn't post this video, because it's almost "obsolete," given that I have found a suitable graphics combination to mostly achieve 4K 60fps, since recording it. However, I still think the video makes some good points about how this game looks and performs. And some people might like this look at my process.
Here is a link to the actual settings I ended up using and how the game looked and performed. (it's a 4K video, btw) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ_iTwI3CKo
Also, this is what the ULTRA preset looks like, with the card. (also a 4K video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eZXA9ktK50
