Real Bout Fatal Fury Special is my favorite in the series so far. It's presentation is off the charts with amazing sprite work, super animations, and stage intros. The battle system has changed as usual for this one going back to the two-level plane, but you can freely fight in the background now. You can still break the corners of the stage, but instead of a ring-out, it stuns the opponent. There's also a bunch of old school Fatal Fury characters playable in this too, along with "extra" versions, but I didn't get a chance to check that out. The new special moves and supers are really cool in this one, especially Mai. I think SNK did an amazing job, a lot of passion here. We also fought the secret last boss, which required us to get a certain score and rating. I think I loved everything about this game. I'll definitely mess around with it some more in the future.
