Final Verdict: 70/100 It's ok. Not entirely bad, but nothing stands out either.
If you actively lived the 90's Dark Horse, Witchblade (Topcow), Image era (which is not the best decade for American comics at all). This might appeal to you.
If not you will find some wasted potential.
The enemy fractions could have been developed a little more (but then again it is a first issue) and the villains just weren't convincing and too much on the nose at times. What also didn't help was the fact that it was delivered 3 years after the crowdfunding campaign started with no free digital PDF to compensate for the lost time (it's 2025 ffs. Get along with the times already.)
Of course there are things that happen beyond your control, but I wish it could have been delivered in a slightly more timely manner. 3 years is just too long and too late for me. So I won't be backing the next issue nor sign up for it.

If you like to see what I created with the help of my hardworking friend @nefariouswatcher.

Issue 3 is currently delayed and issue 1 is being reworked, because of originality issues and because it didn't match the expectations we originally had with the first release.
I am still learning. I am far from an expert and I accept that I still have a lot to learn as a creator. But it was something I had to do to save me from myself. But that's part of the journey.
Therefore (see community posts) issue 1 has been pulled from Globalcomix and the official website. But something better will take its place.
Once again. My apologies in advance, but it had to be done.
