(English below) Gameplay de los primeros niveles de Rebel Moon Rising, la secuela del olvidado shooter en primera persona de temática de ciencia-ficción que mostré anteriormente en el canal, Rebel Moon.

Esta secuela es prácticamente lo mismo que su predecesor, es decir, misma jugabilidad, mismos gráficos, prácticamente mismas armas y enemigos (de esto último hay algo nuevo, poco). Al menos hasta donde he jugado las novedades son mínimas. Está claro que no se esmeraron mucho, parece más una expansión que una secuela. La gran novedad es que en esta ocasión no es exclusivo de determinadas tarjetas gráficas, y que funciona en Windows en vez de en MS-DOS. También permite elegir resolución y ponerlo en HD, aunque en resoluciones 16:9 no mantiene la relación de aspecto.

Yo lo estoy jugando en Windows 11, para ello uso dgVoodoo para mayor compatibilidad y mantener aspect ratio. Para que la música funcione es necesario tener montada la imagen del CD con un programa como Daemon Tools, al ser de CD audio. El juego tiende a crashear con facilidad en los cambios entre las pantallas 3D y las 2D, es recomendable salvar partida justo antes de salir de un nivel.

This sequel is practically the same as its predecessor, that is, same gameplay, same graphics, practically the same weapons and enemies (of the latter there is something new, little). At least as far as I've played the novelties are minimal. It's clear that they didn't take much care, it seems more like an expansion than a sequel. The great novelty is that this time it is not exclusive of certain graphic cards, and that it works on Windows instead of on MS-DOS. It also allows you to choose resolution and set it to HD, although in 16:9 resolutions it does not maintain the aspect ratio.

I am playing it on Windows 11, for this I use dgVoodoo for better compatibility and to keep aspect ratio. For the music to work it is necessary to have the CD image mounted with a program like Daemon Tools, as it is an audio CD. The game tends to crash easily in the changes between 3D and 2D screens, it is advisable to save the game just before exiting a level.
