Record of Lodoss War - Advent of Kardis - Part 10 - More dungeons, the first half of the castle
First, I run around a bit more and clear some more dungeons. There are a couple that do such huge damage that I'm not going to bother with them right now, but I did get to the ruins of heaven and unlock the dungeon teleporters so I can get to any of them when I want.
I meet Ashram at the castle; you can get him to pay you some rare items if you ask, so I go with the copy of Ashram's sword. All of the items are rare drops from enemies if you need to farm for them later...
Wagnard is not a hugely difficult boss, but he likes to spam his evil (it's red instead of green like yours) wind magic which is really irritating. The other annoying part is Ashram getting surrounded and melted by Wagnard's minions, meaning I need to randomly heal to keep him alive for the post-fight cutscene.
I tried to get the Marfa set piece involving the fire but without the durability (and a shield, probably) I doubt I can do it so I decide to come back later.
I manage to collect the Armor of Marfa which was a pain because I forgot you need to use magic to kill the shaman from inside the room while not getting stunlocked by petrification and sword attacks.
I misread the Lucky Potion effect and thought it would give me guaranteed crits... which would be OP, then realized it was immunity to crits, so I wouldn't be able to cheese any bosses with it. Oh well.
