Record of Lodoss War - Advent of Kardis - Part 9 - Clearing dungeons to the castle
I continue west (more or less) clearing dungeons as I go, save for two. The Dragon Helmet boss at the desert is too tough for me at the moment with his critical resistance, so I'll come back later.
The Sandworm dungeon has a boss that is pretty tough as well, but it happens to be the best place to grind experience in the game. The minions are strong but can be killed and are worth grinding all the way to level 99, but I don't really want to do that until I actually get to the end of the game. I get 10ish levels and move on. That dungeon has a very nice inscription for a crit build called Secret Art of the Sword Saint that doubles your critical hit chance (great for getting through pesky golem/boss crit resist) but by the time I go to clear it I won't need it anymore.
In the ruins, I grab the Dragon Shield, though as I'm using a two-handed sword at the moment it's worthless to me for now.
I also run into the Medusa dungeon. Medusa enemies are the reason I carry the two Stone Rings in my inventory; if not for those that fight would have been a game over, but I can put them on while petrified and reduce the time to a more reasonable second or two so I can avoid being chain-petrified until I run out of healing.
The Rock Breaker inscription I collect is pretty nice for a critical build as it doubles my critical damage multiplier which is rather crazy at this point, but it won't fit on my weapon and would also require removing Mana to Flesh! which is too useful for survival to remove.
