To Record your Mac computer (i.e. MacBook) screen (with voice or without audio sound) may be useful in a variety of situations. Perhaps you'd want to do a video instruction about the equipment used in your studio or to record a call on Zoom on your iPhone or gameplay (i.e. Minecraft). Apple included built-in screen recording for the macOS monetary operating system when it released Mojave in 2018. (and came down hard on other screen recording apps). The Screenshot app is a simple and handy method to save a video (and audio!) of whatever is happening on your screen. You'll be able to use this function if you have macOS Mojave or a later version.
The recording will be saved to your Desktop automatically, and you'll get a preview in the bottom-right corner of your screen (similar to when you take a screenshot). You may see the complete recording and trim it if necessary by clicking on this preview.
