"Recycled Content" = Someone Doesn't Understand YouTube ๐
One heck of rant, but I've had about enough of this argument about how sending Twitch highlights to YouTube is "recycled content." This very idea is a dead giveaway that you're listening to a Twitch streamer who doesn't understand YouTube.
Twitch is niche, and heck - it rhymes. ๐ Twitch is associated with gaming. Twitch is associated with personality streaming that's all about the streamer.
YouTube - on the other hand - is general purpose. If it's video - it's YouTube. Period. ๐
There are people who will never give Twitch a chance - ever. When your "recycled content" goes to YouTube for the first time - that's the first time they see it. ๐
Maybe some day these Twitch streamers who are upset that their technologically-inferior platform doesn't help them amount to anything will stop cluttering up YouTube with content that turns YouTube into a means to an end. P.S. YouTube is worth checking out on its own merits. ๐
