Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge - Testing Floating Discs
634Floating Discs are one of the few flying units in the game. They are available only to Yuri at a price of 1750. They are quite expensive but they have some good uses.
Floating Discs like any other flying unit are vulnerable to Anti-Air attacks. However, although they are not even close to a Kirov's survivability they still can survive some heavy attacks. They can attack while moving dealing a decent amount of damage to all types.
The Floating Discs have a unique ability when ordered to attack specific structures. They can steal a good mount of resources out of a Refinery but most importantly they can shut down the power of an enemy when ordered to attack a structure that provides power. This can be a huge game changer. Lastly, as weird as it sounds, a player can not win a game just with floating discs because floating discs will never damage a structure from which they can drain resources or power.
