I honestly did not like many of the modded PVE maps I've seen on the Chinese website, so I decided to play a classic, single-player Skirmish game with some twists. In this mod, Hard plays like a human with 1x resource gather speed. Brutal has a 2x resource gathering speed, I believe, and Insane has 4x resource gathering to boot. Brutal has tactics, but Insane is Insane with its tactics, counters, and sneak attacks. Hard is pretty static at most.

These are just based on my observations.
