Red Dead Redemption 2 Paying a Social Call /A Quiet Time Part 5
1Start this quest by talking to Kieren at camp - he’s the man tied up who you captured back during Old Friends. A cutscene will trigger. Dutch will interrupt you, and threaten to geld Kieren - i.e., castrate him. He’ll talk after the threat of hot bolt cutters are aimed at him with his pants down, and tell you Colm O’Driscoll is held up at Six Point Cabin. You’ll then follow Kieren’s instructions to find Colm and his gang, up in Cumberland Forest He’ll instruct you to leave your horses over the hill, and continue on foot. Remember to take the throwing knives from your saddlebag. Equip the throwing knives and use them to take out the three stragglers silently. After killing him though, a firefight will break out. Do your best to keep covered while fighting After the remaining O’Driscolls run off, loot the bodies. Your buddies will tell you to search the house. Head to it after you’ve looted to your heart’s content. Trying to open the door will prompt a short cutscene - an O’Driscoll was behind the door, and he knocks you over. Kieren, surprisingly, comes to your rescue though.
It turns out Colm isn’t here, making Arthur pretty irate with Kieren - but Bill and John convince him he’s not a threat. Kieren repays the kindness by telling you there’s cash in the chimney.
Head inside and loot the house. There are a few stacks of money on the table, and a double and barreled shotgun above the fireplace. You’ll be prompted to clean it, increasing its stats. There’s $600 in the chimney - your share is $100.
Talk to Dutch at camp to start this mission. Lenny comes riding into camp, exasperated. Turns out, Micah has been arrested at Strawberry. Lenny was almost lynched himself, but he got away. Dutch asks Arthur to save him. But first, you’re to take Lenny to the Saloon in Valentine and a get a “quiet drink” with him. When you get to the saloon, a man will sit next to you and start mocking Arthur and Lenny. Resist your desire to beat this joker, and charm him or threaten him instead to make him leave, peacefully. Afterward, you’ll get incredibly drunk with Lenny, but by the time the cutscene ends, you won’t know where Lenny went off to.
Search the saloon for Lenny. If you talk to the bartender, he’ll tell you Lenny went upstairs. If you open the door to 1A, you’ll get to see a couple going at it… but to find Lenny, just head to the back of the upstairs - opposite of the stairs - he’s leaning against the railing, drinking. Again, you’ll space out drunk. When you come to, Lenny will be in a fight with two men, on top of the bar. Walk downstairs. It looks like you’ll get in a fight, but again, you black out. You catch glimpses of everyone dancing in a line, and the next time you come to, you’re taking a leak outside.
When you go back in to look for Lenny again, everyone looks a bit like Lenny - but you’ll know it’s not him, as none of them are wearing the right clothes. Eventually, the real Lenny will find you downstairs, and you’ll get in a fist fight with him. But again you’ll black-out. Soon you’ll find yourself drowning the man from earlier, whom you either charmed or threatened, doesn’t matter which Don’t worry about pressing the button for “Drown.” It doesn’t seem like you can actually kill him. After another short drunken cutscene, the law will appear and catch Lenny, and then chase you. If you get away, you’ll wake up in the nearby woods, and the mission will end. If you do get caught, Lenny pays the $10 fine to free you both, ending the mission.
