Red Dead Redemption 2 Walkthrough Part 1: Outlaws From The West (INTRO & FIRST MISSION)
1There was a small change of plans, dear gamers as i won't record Parappa The Rapper on the channel. Instead, i'll immediately move onto the planned replacement walkthrough for Red Dead Redemption 2. For unaware, this game was originally recorded on the channel between October and November 2019 and despite relatively good production values, i wanted to make the walkthrough more organic by recording the whole game rather than going into standard mission-by-mission progression as i also intend to record some side missions that will be placed onto the separate playlist when it becomes appropriate. Without further ado, get your popcorn ready and enjoy in my walkthrough of the modern classic, Red Dead Redemption 2!
About Game: Red Dead Redemption 2 is 2018 open-world western game developed and published by Rockstar Games for PS4 and Xbox One, later being released for PCs as well as for Google Stadia in 2019. It is a third and latest game in Red Dead series and serves as a chronological prequel to 2010's Red Dead Redemption. Upon release, the game recieved nearly universal critical acclaim, being praised for its emotion-driven story, impressively detailed and immersive world design and cinematic atmosphere while the crticism by some reviewers went after somewhat slow-paced nature of the story and game in general. Despite, it remains one of the defining classics of the 8th generation of consoles and one of the most technologically impressive games ever created.
Story of the game takes place in two parts set in 1899 and 1907 respectively within an fictionalized depiction of the United States Of America and follows Arthur Morgan, a member of Van Der Linde outlaw gang, the gang of outlaws led by men named Dutch Van Der Linde and Hosea Matthews. After a bank robbery in the town of Blackwater, West Elizabeth that went horribly wrong and cost several members of the gang their lives and others their freedom, Arthur, Dutch, Hosea and other survivors head east into the mountainous State Of Ambarino, finding themselves in the middle of a vicious spring storm with one of the gang members injured in Blackwater dying en route as others try to find a shelter from the elements, eventually coming to an abandoned mining town of Colter with Dutch and Arthur heading out to find two other gang members who were sent out as scouts, John Marston and Micah Bell, eventually running into Micah who tells them about a small populated homestead nearby with three deciding to investigate, quickly finding themselves in a shootout with the occupants upon learning that they had killed the house's real owner and threw his corpse outside. After killing them, they scavenge the house for supplies and learn that the occupants were members of O'Driscoll Boys, an outlaw gang led by Dutch's old rival Colm O'Driscoll, learning that they came to Ambarino with intention of robbing a train that is due to pass through the region soon and finding Sadie Adler, a wife of the man who was killed and had his house taken over by O'Driscolls with the house ending up burned down when Micah tried to restrain her. Feeling sorry for her, three men take her back to Colter in order to let her recover from the traumatic ordeal...
