Red Dust Rebellion took 8 hours — First Impressions
We played this asymmetric sci-fi area control for the first time and talk about it! Red Dust Rebellion is the 12th game of the GMT COIN series, where Mars has been colonized and 4 warring factions are striving for their own victory conditions. As per usual COIN faction, you play around events flipping from a central deck, deciding when is best to pass or use a full operation with unique actions. Ashton played as the corporations trying to get the most profits, and Daniel as the Church of the reclaimer who deal with hand management. Is the time length worth the gameplay for us here at Shelfside? How does this compare to other COIN games like Fire in the Lake and Cuba Libre?
Other games mentioned: Hegemony: Lead Your Class to Victory, Twilight Imperium 4, Falling Sky, A Gest of Robin Hood, Distant Plain, Sid Meier's Civilization 2010
