"Red World" by saRy (Extreme Demon) - Geometry Dash
1Yay! Another originally deemed impossible and hacked old school level that is a hot pile of garbage to play. Yet again this level could be decent like many others but there are several choke points scattered throughout the level which makes it annoying to deal with. I personally got extremely unlucky too but as always I do not count on that when I give my rating and criticism. (Just putting this out here, fails past straight fly: 66, 5x 67, 2x 68, 3x 71, 72, 76, 3x 77, 2x 79, 87, 91, 3x 96, 98)
So first of all the decoration even for it’s time sucks. I’m really not a big fan of anything this level offers visually but I do appreciate the fact that the level is actually red as in “Red World”. The level begins at 30% so we have another one of those free and boring pre-drops before a random impossible part begins. The UFO at 30% was difficult at first but got really consistent after changing the grip on my mouse. 35%-38% ship however was probably one of the hardest parts for me. On practice it was easier so it must have been some kind of mind block.
After getting past 38% you should be good all the way up until 67% gravity portal and orbs. It’s easier than it looks just like many other ship gaps like 71%, 72% and 77%. Other than these particular inputs it’s all good. I don’t know how or why this happens (ultra rarely) but once on practice and once on normal mode I was still a cube after the 78% transition. I checked the hitboxes and no matter how you enter the portals you should always hit the cube portal first and then the ball portal. If someone knows more how this could possibly happen please let me know! I’m curious. The hardest parts are definitely the swingcopter and ship from 78% to 100%. With nerves this becomes an even greater challenge to tackle. I actually like the ending for some weird reason, it’s intense and finishes the level perfectly in my opinion. I would just remove the other choke points from before the level to make it more bearable. Overall average level that doesn’t do much right. It’s not even that fun to play but some might enjoy the ship challenge.
