After the original “Red World” it only felt right to do the remake some justice. I fluked all the way to 72%, then had 73%, 94% and 96%. I had much better experience with this but it’s not that much greater level.
Many of my complaints towards the original level are fixed and changed here! Overall I would even say that this is exactly how the original level should have been. It’s balanced from the beginning to the end and there are no clear choke points except for the unnecessary first click which eats like half of your attempts when playing from 0%.
0%-30% is much harder than the original and makes the pre-drop interesting. Now it requires good ship control and keeps you focused until the actual drop which is nerfed down a lot. 30% UFO feels easier but I don’t know if it actually is changed that much. 37% ship however is so much easier and I love it. Invisible blocks make the transition consistent and the gaps are nerfed to the ground. 39%-67% requires much more swingcopter and ship control now and the part before the second swingcopter is pretty much the same but felt easier here. A lot of the difficulty might also have to do something with the decoration which is much nicer for the eye. The last swingcopter and ship are easier now and the level closes off nicely. Pretty good remake considering how bad the original was.
