Redemptions Guild - Elementalist Gameplay
12Remember, this is Pre-Alpha Prototype builds. We're looking at level 0 characters with basic auto attacks.
The Elementalist is your standard elemental themed mage. Fire, frost, electricity and I believe the last was just arcane energy. This is your squishy ranged DPS caster.
The tomb mechanic is pretty cool in its current form, however it will need some refinement before launch.. Right now in the prototype I wasn't entirely sure what each ability did. I can guess but I don't know what is the most effective.
Essentially all 4 abilities are thematic auto attacks so I doubt there will be much variation but I hope for some reason other than cosmetic to want to swap between them mid fight.
I can't wait to see what kind of crazy spells this guy ends up with. Definitely want to see some AOE/cone attacks on this guy. Maybe some spells that take gestures or charge time. IE you have to put your hands together to grow a ball of fire to a certain size and then you get to shoot it out into the middle of a hoard of dobbie gobbies. (I'm picturing the FF XI cast animation in my mind for any FF XI players out there.)
