Redfall (or more accurately Bethesda & Microsoft) came out today and revealed that the game would be launching with ONLY quality mode on launch and that a secondary performance mode would be released later on as an update, essentially forcing everyone to experience the game at 30fps until they decide it's a good time to add 60fps or a performance mode. If Microsoft really wants to compete at an effective level with Sony and their other competition, they need to start taking things seriously and creating GOOD day one releases for Xbox Game Pass. Redfall is a step in the right direction, but kneecapping the game to 30fps on your FLAGSHIP CONSOLE at launch is not a good look. Phil Spencer needs to figure it out!
