In the middle of all the tabletop discussions happening recently, Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games came up as a great d6 system from the pre-OGL days. And over the course of those discussions, my brother and I are going to be playing a campaign with my nephew (his son) using this sourcebook + campaign books.

But what's really interesting to me is that despite my love of Star Wars and the Thrawn novels by Timothy Zahn...I had NO IDEA that his books were written based off the world that was established for the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games in the late 80s and then into the 90s.

We'll be starting our Star Wars RPGing sessions soon, so make sure to stay tuned for those!
