Xiaomi released the Note 8 and Note 8 Pro in China yesterday and in this video we are going to be discussing the pros and cons and everything else about these two new phones.
The Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro both have IPS LCD displays with a notch up top. The Redmi Note has the smaller screen at 6.3 inches with a 13MP selfie snapper while the bigger Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a bigger 6.53 inch display and 20MP front shooter.
Internally, we have the Snapdragon 665 on the Redmi Note 8 along with 4/64 GB, 6/64 GB and 6/128 GB of RAM and internal storage. On the Note 8 Pro, we have the Mediatek G90T and that's paired with the 6/64 GB, 6/128 GB and 8/128 GB of RAM and Internal storage.
The Note 8 and Note 8 pro come with 4,000mAh and 4,500mAh batteries respectively. They both have support for 18 Watt Quick Charge.
When it comes to cameras both the phones have a quad camera setup to the back. The Redmi Note 8 has a primary Isocell GM2 48MP sensor while the other 3 cameras are an 8MP ultra wide camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. On the Redmi Note 8 Pro, the primary sensor is the 64MP Isocell Bright GW1, the other three sensors are the same.
Both the phones are running on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie.
