After the game that I can't put up on YouTube, played for the game of the month club, I felt like I needed a pallet cleanser. For me, that's some good ol' fashioned 90's shooters. Build engine glory. And hey, I only played 2 parts of the "4th game of the Big Three", so I figured I may as well play the last part. What could go wrong, right?

Well, aside from the beginning, where Twitch wouldn't even let me use the name of the game in the channel title, EVERYTHING. The game works, but is glitchy. And when the glitch happens all I have found to do is quit out and reload. Ok, fine, so that's one thing. How's the rest? Well, it's Redneck Rampage, so it's already not great. But hey, the level design and artwork was pretty decent on the first level. Didn't like the back and forth but the rest of it was great. Just took me forever 'cause first time and you really do get lost easily in these games.

Then came the second level. Oh. Oh god. It's horrible. Soul-crushingly bad. It's bad enough that you're kinda sorta supposed to ride a motorcycle through it. Even if it has possibly the worst driving controls in FPS history. It also goes through ammo in no time, and you can only pick up ammo for it while on it. But worse, oh god so much worse, is the back and forth required to exit the level. First, you drive part way in, to the fast food shop, and get the key. Then you drive back to almost the beginning, get off the bike, and go through an obscured cave to get the second key. Then you go all to the way to the end, get off the bike again. Find another well hidden cave, go inside, use the key to open one door, go through the vent to open a switch.... that opens another door with another switch. That's right, we are in Tomb Raider 2 territory here. Doors that exist only to give you extra switches to hit.
