The Renegade Base is located in one of the snowy islands surrounding the Flanoir continent. Inside, Orochi will act as your healing point, so you don't need to worry about being stuck in a "no inn" situation like in the Sylvarant Base. There will be several puzzles involving blocks, security lasers, lifts, and a password.
[ 21:52 ] Boss: Yuan & Botta (Hard)
If you're using Zelos, keep in mind that his new weapon is thunder elemental. If you want him to do efficient damage to Yuan, give him a Summon Spirit accessory
Afterwards, you'll get the Rheairds and escape from the base. Additionally, the severed mana link between Volt and Undine causes an earthquake to occur.
Before rescuing Colette, be sure to look for treasure and skits on the world map. Also, unlike me, you may want to upgrade your gear in Altamira. Once you're ready, fly in the eastern side of the map and look for a floating continent.
[ 53:40 ] Boss: Winged Dragon (Hard)
The boss cannot be affected by Unison Attacks, but its minions can. As usual with group battles, stock up on Energy Tablets and try to take them out one at a time.
After that, you get the infamous "ominous light" scene and get Colette back.
There's also a short sidequest you can do for Presea, where you can see what's going on between her childhood friends.
