When starting a new character route, you'll temporarily be locked out of the current party and inventory until you progress into the route. Once you do, the new character's inventory and the current party's inventory will merge.
H'aanit has the ability to provoke NPCs into battle, but she can only summon animals and cannot use her own skills or use items. If you lose to the NPC, your reputation will be hurt, so be sure to save first. Note that if an NPC is blocking a doorway, beating them up will force them out of the way and allow you entry.
H'aanit is tasked by Lord Ciaran to hunt the Ghisarma, a beast that's disrupting the ecosystem of Whisperwood. While H'aanit feels some pity for the Ghisarma being driven out of its own natural habitat, she cannot approve of it taking its anger out on the local wildlife of its new home.

H'aanit should be able to target its bow weakness by herself, but it may also help to tame ailment inflicting creatures, especially blind since the boss mainly uses physicals.
After the battle, H'aanit runs into Hagen, Master Z'aanta's loyal wolf. This indicates that something bad happened to Z'aanta during his hunt for the Redeye, and it's up to H'aanit to investigate!
