Regarding Dragonball Xenoverse 2
Today I (Charlie, of Purposeless Rabbitholes) go into detail about some facets of Dragonball Xenoverse 2's design that I think can be improved. Hopefully you enjoy, and maybe get a laugh or two out of it. Discuss in the comments, I'd love to hear what everyone thinks, about my suggestions or the game in general!

A few notes, because I feel like I said some stupid stuff in here:
1.) If Dimps integrated transformations into the game via Option 2 (Budokai 3 style), you wouldn't have to watch the transform animation 7 times; you'd just have to charge up your ki to the specific amount required for a high-level transformation like SSGSS.
2.) If I could customize Taffy Toes and give him the SS4 look, he wouldn't be royal-blue, hairy-chested manbeast. In fact, he'd be a royal-blue, hairless-chested manbeast.
3.) There already exist ki-focused and melee-focused builds, two of the potential new builds I mention around the 7:05 mark. Just seemed like a weird way to word it; to clarify, multiple types of builds do currently exist, but I'd like for there to be a wider variety of them (hence the "evasive-based" build I mentioned; imagine teleporting and hopping around your opponent, swooping in for attacks like a motherfucking golden-haired eagle) and for ranged play to be a bit more viable.
4.) The Z-Vanish isn't used in "pretty much all battles", it's used in like, every second of every battle. It's a VERY central mechanic to the fights, and when I say "not every player should have to constantly Z-Vanish if they don't want to", it doesn't make much sense because they'd have to make HEAVY revisions or additions to the combat system in order to balance out a less important or useful version of the currently-very-important Z-Vanish.
5.) At the point in time when I made this video, I wasn't aware of the step-vanish technique; that's definitely a more viable dodging technique that uses no stamina, and combining it with the L2 dodge can yield some interesting dodge-related results. Although I do still believe the basic L2 dodge feels a little too sluggish.
