Rejuvenating The Town Centre | Farthest Frontier - Part 2 (Settlement Survival Game)
396Farthest Frontier continues and we move up in the world a little as we upgrade our town centre! No longer will Geekvale be known as a place with a measly tier one town centre, oh no, it shall be famous for it's glorious tier two town centre, with it's big pointy roof and incredibly high shutters!
We finally get our field up and running and we deploy a little bit of common sense into the crop rotation, avoiding planting things that are weak to frosts in early Spring and making sure that anything planted over Summer is tolerant to heat. This pays off and soon we have some vegetables to go with our meat!
Speaking of meat, this is in plentiful supply as many animals pop into the settlement to say hello and are then promptly set upon by Edran, hunter extraordinaire, although he does need a helping hand at one point.
Also we build a trading post, we put together some more homes and there's a bit of a fire!

All Them Old-Timey Diseases! - Ensure your villagers have clean water to stop outbreaks of dysentery and cholera. Collect berries and plant greens to avoid scurvy and ensure a healthy diet. Make sure villagers are properly shoed and clothed to reduce chances of contracting tetanus, rabies or frostbite. Build a healer’s house to quarantine the infected and provide herbs and medicine for treatment.
Fend Off Would-Be Invaders - Choose to play on pacifist and avoid combat altogether or engage with varying levels of raider difficulty to raise the stakes for your town’s survival. Progress from wood palisades to stone walls, build towers and barracks, recruit and equip soldiers in the defense of your town.
