Release The Bride is an absolute gem of a platformer in development. The controls are super simple with jump, cling/slash, and dash. The level design and level mechanics that evolve and change as you progress are where the game shows its ingenuity. Also at the heart of the game is a simple but poetic narrative about a young princess on a quest to get back to her fiancé after being kidnapped into the abyss by a monster just to get rid of your fiancé. What will happen if you were a princess and you got kidnapped into the abyss by a monster just to get rid of your fiancé? That is what happened to her, she was able to call her fiancé for help but she chose to prove she is not weak, and from that moment her journey to get out of the abyss start.
