Nightmare: The Lunatic is a solid action rogue lite in development. I am impressed how smooth the game feels. The pixel art is beautiful and controls are tight. The gameplay reminds me of Dead Cells. Nightmare: The Lunatic despite it being development the gameplay is exceptionally well-done: movement and combat mechanics are smooth and satisfying. Enemy design is varied and balances challenge levels appropriately, and the overall presentation and surrounding mechanics are all competent.
