RENNSPORT Hands-On - THE Next Big Thing In Sim Racing

We’ve been hands-on, in Munich, with Rennsport, the latest sim racing platform sensation. New from the ground up and created by a fresh team, this alpha build showcased the Porsche 911 GT3 R, BMW M4 GT3 and Porsche Mission R around the Hockenheimring or the Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb.
Across three days, we were able to test the game on a variety of different rigs, across Fanatec and VRS wheel bases, in both time trial hot lap competitions and LAN race events.
Several questions about the game, including development team members, VR support, platforms and weather conditions were also finally answered.
The game is currently planned for a late 2023 release date, with a heavy focus on esports. There will be competitive events and open betas before launch, and chances to try the game early at various in-person events.
