Zelda II Great Palace Ceiling Shortcut - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
In The Great Palace (aka the final dungeon aka the fungeon) of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, there's a room with infinitely spawning gargoyle head things. You need to be in the bottom section of this room, but if you find yourself at the top section (which is normally a dead end) you can make use of this cool trick to navigate around the dead end and reach the bottom section of the room.
All you need to do is bounce off of one of the gargoyle heads and land on the top corner of the wall/ceiling to the right. Usually this requires the Jump spell and the downward thrust ability, and it also requires you to manipulate the position of the gargoyle heads by spawning them at just the right place, but if you perform this exploit properly, you can escape this dead end and proceed with the fungeon.
From what I understand, this trick will actually save you some time in a speedrun, but since it's kind of annoying to pull off, it's more commonly used in TAS runs, and not so favored by human players.
