If you're like me and use the Droid 1 original rounded keyboard a lot you will begin to notice that it starts to become a bit messed up over time. Either the keys will start to fall out, or become loose, or you will start to get huge air bubbles which make typing really uncomfortable and slow. If you wanna fix this you can actually buy an OEM keyboard replacement on eBay or various online retailers and perform the installation yourself. This video shows how I installed mine. This will make your Droid last much longer and you won't have to worry about buying a new phone as it isn't actually necessary yet. Nor will you have to worry about sending it back to Motorola for repair -- which if you're like me, would cost money as the wearing down will begin to show AFTER the warranty is out.
