In this video, I continue my adventure setting up the Cockpit Project for DCS World.
After troubleshooting the multifunction display crashes, I encountered a new problem that seemed impossible to solve: the brightness of the WinWing MFDs didn't match the brightness displayed in the simulator.
Flying at night had become a nightmare.
If I turned up the brightness on the physical MFDs, the simulator screens would blind me.
If I turned it down in the sim, the real MFDs would go completely black.
For a long time, I ruled out using a certain program because I considered it "cheat material." Many people use it to gain a visual advantage when making contact at a distance... but in the end, it was my salvation. I managed to manipulate only the user interface layer of the MFDs, matching the brightness between my physical and virtual screens to the millimeter.
