Resident Evil 4 Remake - Osmund Saddler final boss battle
3This Resident Evil 4 Remake game guide shows the final boss fight of the game - you'll have to defeat Osmund Saddler in the Loading Docks in chapter 16. Make sure to visit the merchant and save the game before using the elevator to the Loading Docks. We recommend crafting as much magnum ammo as possible, because it will be very effective in the boss battle.
In PHASE 1 you'll be using the entire Loading Docks as the battlefield. The boss can destroy parts of the metal structure and this can force you to pick a different path. Try to always maintain a distance from the boss and press the Evade button as soon it appears on the screen.
Your goal is to target the boss's big eyes. The magnum can be very effective, because there's a chance that a single hit will instantly destroy the eye. Once enough eyes have been destroyed the boss will collapse - you can approach Saddler and stab his eye with the knife. You can find supplies on the platforms, as well as explosive barrels which are best detonated when the boss is close to them.
Saddler may jump away and this may be a good moment to switch to the sniper rifle. The boss will summon flying creatures - focus only on the ones closest to Leon and stab them with the knife if you're caught. Continue to focus on destroying the eyes and stab the collapsed boss several more times.
In PHASE 2 the player area will be very limited. Use Evade each time the icon appears on the screen and run to the side when you see that the boss is planning a vertical smash. Keep attacking the orange core until Ada throws you a rocket launcher. Pick it up and fire the missile at the core to end the boss fight.
