Resident Evil 5 PC Benchmark Test
3I've only included areas 2 and 3 since they're the most taxing parts in the benchmarking tests. Aside from the stats shown in the video, this was in windowed mode and with 2x AA and Motion Blur on. I assume the benchmark takes the current settings into effect. I dunno if it does. (I play in windowed mode so I can IM at the same time. ^^ Too lazy to turn on my laptop. XD)
I made Fraps do a 200 FPS cap for the heck of things even though I know the framerates will never get that high. XD I am certain, however, that the performance did suffer a little due to Fraps being active. Oh well.
Without Fraps and anti-aliasing on, the overrall frame rate is considerably higher. :D
Also, I'm disappointed that the AI Chris didn't act as stupid as one of the other benchmark tests I did. In that particular run, he just stood around for about half the time and let enemies attack him. :P It was almost like playing with someone that was constantly distracted (by a phone call) or something. XD XD XD
And for what it's worth, I finished the game already. :3! (Found all of 3 (out of 30) BSAA Emblems too. ^^;;;;)
Oh geezus, I keep forgetting I bought Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles for Wii. Guess I should open that and play it at some point. :P
