"Is there any point trying to resist her? The cutscene always plays the same..."
I had been wondering the same thing so I decided to do a Side by Side Comparison and find out for sure! There is a small difference between Resisting Mia (R2) vs. Not Resisting Mia, on the Left side of the Video Ethan will Resist Mia and on the Right Side Ethan will Not Resist Mia. Regardless on your choice to interact during this scene it will end the same way when playing on Easy or Normal Difficulty Settings. This may change if Harder Difficulties are unlocked after completing the game, I would assume resulting in a player fatality if you do not resist her in time, if not what's the point!
