Resident Evil 7 Complete Demo Walk Through (Dummy Hand)
5A COMPLETE walk through of the updated Resident Evil 7 Demo, including all of the Dummy Hand steps. If you would rather not listen to my commentary, I did add my own subtitles for all the steps that need to be taken. As well as that, I will post them here in case you'd rather not watch at all! (You will want to immediately turn around and pull the lever under the fireplace once you wake up. Following that, you crawl into the secret crawl space and grab the fuse from the yellow table. Go to the fuse box and replace the fuse, then head immediately towards the moldy door. From there, grab the ammo in the bathroom; the blank journal in the small, brown cabinet; and finally the ammo on the shelf to the upper left. Following that, walk back towards the kitchen, grabbing the dummy finger from the cabinet and heading towards the front door to get the bolt cutters. Use the bolt cutters to retrieve the video tape, and head up to the upper level to activate the attic stairs. From there, grab the basement key on the table, the ammo under the bed and the object made of celluloid from behind the televisions. Combine the dummy finger and the object made of celluloid, then activate the riddle. Head downstairs to the fallen over cabinet, and point the dummy finger at it using the examine function. This should activate a special sound and screen change. Head back up to the attic and to the dead end hallway, where you will stare at the light. A giggling sound should activate. From there, head towards the basement through the moldy door. Grab the ammo from under a stair, and grab the lock pick on the blue generator[?]. Charge into the moldy monster room, skirting the body bags on the left, grabbing the valve and running back to the door. Keep pressing on the door until you can bust through, and run up the stairs. Head to the bathroom and use the valve to get the gun from the toilet. Run back down stairs, this time going to the right and retrieving the attic key from shelving. AVOID THE MONSTER. From there, you will go back up the stairs, but then immediately back down. Head to the body bag directly in front of the door. Point the dummy finger at the body bag, initiating the second murder. Head back towards the room you started in, watching the video. In the flashback, retrieve the lock pick from between the fridge and microwave and use it to unlock the cabinet to the right. Leave the cabinet open. Continue through the rest of the video. Once back to 'real life', head towards the kitchen and get the ax form the open cabinet. Use the ax to hit the portrait of the women with the bag over her head, which is on the staircase. After that, go to the room under the staircase, pointing the dummy hand at the boarded up door. After that, walk towards the mirror, and quickly use the 'quick turn' button to turn 180 degrees to face the room once more. After that, head up to the attic, going to the top room. Head towards the left, pointing the dummy and at the blue and white wires which are on the rafters. Head down towards the room you started in again, and play the video once more. From here, you have a few options as the actual course of action to activate the next step is unknown. I always interact with everything in the kitchen and follow the a**hole guy around. After finishing the video, head down to the basement and look at the doll on the ground near where you retrieved the attic key. If a giggling sound doesn't start up, you have to keep playing the video until it does. Once it does, though, you head back to the kitchen and point the dummy hand at the pot of rotten food on the table. From there, head back up to the attic, going into the room with the bloody door on the top floor near the escape ladder. Interact with the sign that says 'You're the best ever!' twice and claim your reward!)
