Let´s try out Resident Evil 7 in VR on HTC Vive, using the Vive controllers and in true 3D vision inside of the virtual reality headset, thanks to vorpX VR-support and it´s latest update version 17.2.0. Resident Evil 7 really works on the HTC Vive thanks to this vorpX experimental VR-support, and you have head turning tracking, true 3D and you can as well use the Vive controllers, but there are also a lot of flaws and things that I´m missing in this VR-mod, like no room scale and the fact that this VR mod requires a very beefy PC and GPU. How to play Resident Evil 7 in VR on HTC Vive:

1. Buy Resident Evil 7 on Steam:

2. Buy and download vorpX and install it on your PC:

http://www.vorpx.com/

3. Start up Steam VR and make sure the HTC Vive headset, the controllers and Lighthouses are working and green.

4. Start up Resident Evil 7 and it will automatically start up the game in VR-mode inside of your HTC Vive headset.

5. Go into settings, set optimal (recommended) resolution 1280x1024 and see if your computer can handle it.

NOTE: The video cut scenes looks messed-up while watching them in VR, I dunno why. Hopefully a vorpX fix or an updated version will be available soon.
