Let´s play Robo Recall VR on HTC Vive thanks to the latest Revive hack, and also try out a custom locomotion MOD! The custom MOD for Robo Recall works great with Revive and enables free touchpad movement and jumping ability while playing, in addition to the default teleporting locomotion, and it really makes Robo Recall even better and easier to play!

During the first 30 minutes of this VR gameplay video, I´m playing through a few levels with the default locomotion, and from around 30:10 into the clip you can watch how the custom locototion MOD works.

Robo Recall is made by Epic Games, and its truly one of the best Oculus Rift games out today. This is an action-packed arcade FPS shooter and you play as a special agent to defeat, recall and thrash evil robots that has taken over a big city. The best thing is that you can fully play this game on HTC Vive, if you have installed the latest Revive hack (version 1.0.6 or later).

Robo Recall is a stunning presentation of how far VR games have come today. With beautiful sceneries, spectacular graphics, intense and immersive gameplay as well as great physics, Robo Recall is one of the best first person shooters in virtual reality, and its actually a FULL game with loads of levels and many hours of gameplay!

Follow the steps to install and play Robo Recall with the locomotion MOD:

1. Close Steam VR if its running.

2. Install Oculus Home if you haven´t done it yet, then reboot PC if necessary:

3. Make sure you have enabled "Unknown Sources" in the Oculus Home Settings menu, under "General" tab.

4. Buy Robo Recall from inside Oculus Home or the link below ($30) and install the game:

5. Download the latest Revive hack (ReviveInstaller.exe version 1.0.6 or later) and install it by double clicking on the ReviveInstaller.exe file.

6. Download the "Locomotion MOD" from the Oculus community forum below, extract the .exe file inside the RAR-archive and doubleclick the .exe to install the MOD:

7. Start up Steam VR and put on your HTC Vive HMD. You will see a Revive tab directly in the Steam VR dashboard. Click on it, and you will see Robo Recall in the Oculus games list inside. Just click on the Robo Recall game logo and it starts in the background. Press the system button (below touchpad) on the Vive controller to close down the Steam VR dashboard and you will enter the Robo Recall game!

8. Enjoy the Robo Recall in default mode, or go inte Holostation inside the "Office" in-game, click on the MODS-tab on the right, click on the "LOCOMOTION" in Available Mods menu so it gets enabled, and the launch any single map you want to play (just like I do in this video).

9. Enjoy Robo Recall with free locomotion and prepare for some stunning graphics and great gameplay :)

NOTE: You can NOT play the story mode, get points, get added to the leaderboards or progress in the storymode of the game with the MOD enabled. You can only play with the MOD by launching any of the available maps and play them separately. You start the maps inside the Holostation (just like I do around 30:40 minutes into this video).
