Welcome everyone to resident evil remaster version mod. this is a ps1 psx mod which uses an xdelta file to patch the original rom bin file. This mod of the game offers a new perspective on the game as all fmv's have been replaced with the remake fmv's, soundtracks have been changed and new customes are avaliable. the fmvs were taken from the gamecube and wii's version of resident evil remake. im very surprised they could do it and i must say i respect there vision and passion for developing. I recorded this in 4k but then lowered the resolution to 1080p to get the best of the x4 sampling. I think it has worked very well as the backgrounds look a whole lot nicer.
As always, im playing on android os system using epsxe as ps1 emulator. the specs have been set to very high and i hope it shows in the quality of the graphics. i think soem sound syncing issues are present towards the end but it isnt anything to worry about. as always the gameplay is uncensored. uncensored gameplay, uncensored fmv, uncensored graphics and uncensored everything. worts and all the good the bad the ugly, what ever else you want to call it.
since modding psx games is a relatively new thing, it isnt gonna be perfect especially when incorporating fmvs from other hardware based games such as the gamecube. other games of resident evil in will weaker be a bad ass, will Chris punch some boulders or will Jill become a Jill sandwich all will be revealed in the not a resident Evil speedrun.
