Resident Evil UDC: Chris - Deranged Mode Bug
0The Resident Evil: Ultimate Director's Cut is a fan-made mod of the Dual Shock version of the Director's Cut by RekseW. It restores the original soundtrack from the original game, uncensors everything, and replaces the Arrange mode with a new more difficult Deranged mode. I think this mod is poorly designed overall. This video shows a minor avoidable bug, as well as proof that a certain door works the way it's supposed to when playing as Chris on Deranged mode.
After beating Plant 42, the game splits into two paths. The path from the Aqua Lab leads you through the underwound hallways of the mansion, which eventually lead you directly to the secret Umbrella Laboratory. If you try to exit the lab via the elevator that you normally enter in Original and Arrange modes, you will become permanently stuck. This is because you never actually use the Eagle and Wolf Medals if you choose this path.
