On a Windows based computer, appears the following error in Remote Desktop Connection: "Your computer could not connect to console session on the remote computer because you already have a console session in progress".

This tutorial contains instructions to resolve the following Remote Desktop Connection error: "Your computer could not connect to console session on the remote computer because you already have a console session in progress".

The error "Your computer could no connect to console session on the remote computer because you already have a console session in progress", is caused because one of the network adapters on your computer (RDP from), has the same IP address with the computer that you are trying to connect to, through the remote desktop.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops,and tablets running the Windows 10 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba,Lenovo, and Samsung).
