RESYNCING THE SERVER: Cats in Time | Escape Simulator DLC | Puzzle Solved #Short | Room Escape
2GAIN ACCESS TO THE TIME MACHINE in Cats in Time, a DLC "Extras" room in Escape Simulator!
Start this puzzle by first opening the garage door in the room. This will give you access to the main server. You'll notice that some switches/lights are illuminated where others are not, and a number of different shapes and patterns as well.
You'll need to have completed the computer puzzle (SPOILER: Answer 5141) to turn the desk lamp light from regular to UV. In doing so, you'll notice "6255" on the chalkboard. Use this for the U-Lock on the locker beside the server to unlock the light panels.
Once the locker is unlocked and the garage door is open, recreate the light patterns from the main server on the shapes found in the locker light panels. All of these patterns are relatively easy to find and can be found directly on the main server. It's easiest to start with the squares as it's easily the most unique pattern on the board. In doing this, you'll get a sense of how the puzzle works and exactly what you're looking to accomplish.
After inputting all but the last few patterns, you'll notice that in the bottom right corner there is a cluster of 5 dots as well as a single dot floating in the bottom middle. The bottom middle dot DOES NOT need to be turned on as it is left off in both the main server and by default in the locker. The main focus is solving the combination of the corner pieces. If this corner is left until the end, you'll have noticed there's really only the "2" and "4" dot clusters to work with. The middle and top dots form the "2" and the corner pieces form the "4" clusters. Illuminate the bottom of the "2" formation (middle of the 5 cluster) and the bottom right of the "4" cluster to complete this puzzle and reveal the Sync Chip.
Plug the Sync Chip into the slot at the bottom of the main server to power the door across the room, which will grant you access to the time machine - the main puzzle you're trying to solve to escape this room.
