0Judging Halo 4 now that I have finally gotten to playing through and completing it, I'll give it a solid 7 out of 10.
It's Gameplay is great; it feels like the next iteration of Halo with some very cool Promethean Weaponry. While it's story is pretty generic as a whole, where it truly shines is Cortana's Story Arch: It's pretty engaging stuff and culminates nicely once everything is said and done. Our AI Companion has been through a lot with Master Chief. You'll definitely realize that at Halo 4's conclusion.
Bungie's "Halo Magic" is impossible to replicate, so comparatively, Halo 4 suffers. As a Game it's fine. And this is where Gamers' indifference on where Halo sits now and where it once stood can be traced back here.
If you haven't played Halo 4, I say give it a chance. It's really not that bad.
