Retro and Reminisce // Konami Arcade Classics // GI Joe & The Simpsons
I originally started with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Turtles in Time, two of the best Arcade Games you've probably overlooked by today's standards. With Konami's pedigree fresh on the brain, I followed TMNT with Sunset Riders and X-Men, another two phenomenal Arcade Games even by today's standards.
For today's Stream, I thought "What about those other amazing Konami Arcade Games??" So here we have GI Joe and The Simpsons. Sadly, you've probably never heard of, or known of, GI Joe's existence. I personally only saw GI Joe **once** in the Arcades, back when I was about 15 years old at my then local Chucky Cheese (when they actually had Games worth your... Tokens). Needless to say, I was blown away at what I was playing. Sadly, GI Joe is lost to time due to it's Arcade exclusivity thanks to it's unique spin on Sprite Scaling that Home Console Hardware at the time couldn't possibly handle. You gotta admit, GI Joe looks killer, even by (again) today's standards. Which I repeat a lot during my playthrough.
And of course, we're playing through these two timeless classics with 4-Player simultaneous play.
