Retro Gaming Capture Test 4 Part 1 | Sony PlayStation 2 Slim
More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.
Fourth to get tested on power up is the Sony PlayStation 2 Slim. Fairly easy to get a quite reasonable result much like the standard PS2 although I think this game does not look so colourful, but I was also getting incorrect screen alignment, luckily was able to adjust it in game. Had this issue before with the slim version so later I can compare the 2 PS2 versions for a better idea of how good they will be. Again using a fairly cheap convertor to get the signal converted from AV to HDMI, with no obvious problems for now using the HDMI splitter also.
