Retro Gaming Capture Test 5 Part 1 | Super Nintendo Entertainment System
More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.
Fifth to get tested on power up is the SNES or Super Nintendo Entertainment System. A little disappointed at first as the image seemed not as good as I thought would be possible, but this is the cheap option so maybe I can improve later with another device. Also the sound was very low but I was able to increase it both on my display and with the Elgato software to get this one working reasonably. Using a convertor cable going from the AV Multi socket, powered convertor to HDMI. Also no obvious problems using my HDMI splitter.
