Retro Gaming Capture Test 48 Part 2 | Atari 2600+
More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.
Back with the Atari 2600+ for a second test session. Having never owned or used an original Atari System and not being familiar with how they work, I delayed this video for a couple of days. This is because the paddle controllers do not seem to work correctly with the system. I have watched other videos of this system, so far no one has shown the test that I try here and no one has answered my question about the testing of 2 players. When I try to use 2 paddle controllers for 2 players either one controller does not seem to work at all, or when they both do work, pressing the button on one of the controllers seems to crash the system. Has this console not been tested properly? If I saw other people testing it without problems then I could assume I just have a faulty unit that needs to be returned, but so far I see no one testing 2 players on videos.
