Retro Gaming Capture Test 5 Part 4 | Super Nintendo Entertainment System-Super NT
More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.
Back with the SNES or Super Nintendo Entertainment System games for a fourth time for this video. An addition to my collection with a device that has been around for a while but is quite expensive and very limited in numbers, but has been reported to give very good results, and what should be a great option for playing either original SNES or Super Famicom games, maybe also the game boy games if the Super Game Boy adapter works with this. As a hardware emulation FPGA device I would think it probably will. Anyway just to start with, a quick look through the settings on the device as it is sold today, then on to some gameplay to see how it plays and can be captured from 2 games built into the device and 3 other Pal cartridges picked at random from my collection. Later I can experiment with the device for some gameplay of new games with optimised settings.
