1Here it is .. my very first SEGA Genesis / Megadrive recording..
This game has been very influential for the entire Real Time Strategy Genre , listing DuneII , Command and Conquer , Warcraft , Total Annihilation and more amongst the game it influenced..
It is not very well known outside the Real Time Strategy Gaming community , since it had only a limited release in the West (it IS japanese after all) but any fan of the genre should have at least one copy .. i happened to buy two copies by accident, with different sleeves.
This game also shows off some of the anime (japanese animation) traits : big robots and other warmachines known as Mecha...
The Commander-Mech looks a lot like the Veritech Fighters from the Anime series Macross , converted to western tastes as Robotech by Harmony Gold, along with two more unrelated series to fill out ridiculous tv-broadcast requirements..
That said , this game is and will always be one of my favorite games of all times .. i do wish one day SEGA , Sony or Nintendo would issue a Remake (preferrably for all gaming machines)..
I don't want M$ involved .. they are the worst of the lot
