Revell EasyKit 06623 | US Navy F-14D Tomcat | 1:100 scale | Review & Build | HD
This is a review and build video of the Revell F-14D Tomcat that is in the US Navy livery and this model is from the "EasyKit" range. The model is already painted and it is a snap-fit kit which doesn't require any painting or glue. Although the parts do come on sprues and therefore I would recommend touching up the areas with some paint where the parts are cut from the sprues as it will make the model look better. Of course, this is optional but will give the model a better finish. Also I would recommend some sprue-cutters to cut the parts away from the plastic sprues that they are fixed to rather than a craft knife. On my example of this kit, there was some extra flash that I have to cut away during construction, but it was acceptable as there wasn't too much compared to what I have seen with some other kits. I have tripled the speed during construction so that the video isn't too boring. But I hope this video will be helpful for newcomers to this hobby and I appreciate all positive and constructive feedback.
Happy modelling/kit building!
